Recently our school went to the railway station to welcome the 'Heritage Express' into Stuart Town. The students waved and welcomed visitors to our great town.
The Stuart Town RTC recieved an email from two passengers on board the train. Mr and Mrs Roberts said in the email;
It is hard to say "we especially want to say a big thankyou"....when so many are involved, however, I am sure you won't mind if we say a VERY BIG THANKYOU to the wonderful Primary School Children. (Now, we know that they came to see the steam train) But it was just great to have them there...excited....and saying welcome to as many as they could....what great ambassadors for the town.
They looked proud and spendid in their red school uniforms and it was a moment that we will treasure. It made a great day greater.
Well done kids, you made me very proud of you all.
